THE MALE INTELLECT: AN OXYMORON? in Mandeville Hall
Wednesday, April 30, 2008, 7:30 pm; Thursday through Saturday, May 1–3, 2008, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 3, 2008, 4 p.m. Tickets: $34 ($30.60 Members).Chances are if you are a guy who makes it to the pearly gates, your first question to Saint Peter will be “What do women really want?” Is it that men are so stupid and insensitive that they can’t figure out what women want, or do women play by a set of unwritten rules that keep changing as the mood suits them? According to actor/playwright Robert Dubac, the answer to both questions is yes! His hit one-man show is a multi-character comedy – he seamlessly transforms himself into five alter egos each offering their own brand of misguided advice while straddling the gender gap. The Pigeon sisters have been replaced by the hilarious Constanzuela brothers. While the genders have been reversed for all of the characters, the dynamic between Unger and Madison remains the same. Many consider this version of the play to be even funnier than the original.
