By Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett
Directed by Joe Edkin

This is the powerful play by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, adapted from the world-famous book, which is based on a true story. In Nazi-occupied Holland, Otto Frank and his family go into hiding because of increasing acts of persecution against Jews. Hidden in the rooms above Frank’s former place of business, the Franks, family friends the Van Daans, and a dentist by the name of Dussel try to avoid detection while waiting for Holland to be liberated. Even with the help of Frank’s former business associates, basic needs become a challenge, and minor incidents present grave risk. Isolation and fear fill their every day, and every small joy becomes something to treasure.
